Hottonia palustris

The Asian and European Hottonia stem plant is an easy beginner plant. The many curved buds with fan-shaped, intense light green leaves quickly form a close clump. Each stem grows to 4-6 cm wide and 10-30 cm tall. Frequent pruning of long shoots ensures growth of the lower part of the plant and maintains a compact, bushy shape.
The plant's wide growth pattern makes it very suitable for providing space between very low and tall plants. The bright green color creates a beautiful contrast and enhances the red tones of the surrounding plants.
