An excellent algae eater, especially fond of eating BBAs (Black Brush Algae).

Its effectiveness in eradicating algae will be multiplied in the presence of several individuals.

Although they feed on algae, they do not attack plants.

They should not be fed high-protein foods because they are unable to metabolize them efficiently. Regular and prolonged consumption of high-protein foods can result in excessive fat deposits and even organ degeneration.
