Vesicularia montagnei 'Natal'

A specialty moss from Brazil, 1 to 3 cm tall, called "Christmas tree moss" because of its lateral branch structure that distinguishes it from common Vesicularia dubyana and resembles pine branches.
It is more demanding than common Java moss and grows more slowly. It attaches itself easily to roots and rocks and, as it spreads in water, needs pruning to maintain its attractive shape. See also Taxiphyllum barbieri.
