Tropic Marin® Pro-Reef sea salt was produced to offer special treatment conditions in reef aquariums: optimized concentrations of calcium and magnesium promote coral growth. The appropriate buffering capacity stabilizes pH and carbonate hardness, even when using calcium reactors and other methods of calcium supply. Through this precise adjustment of all influencing factors, natural and sustainable vital conditions are created in the aquarium with an alkalinity between 7 and 8 °dH.
Tropic Marin® Pro-Reef creates an ideal environment for the care of fish, corals, and other invertebrates in modern reef aquariums.

Application and Dosage:
To achieve a salinity of 32–35‰ (psu), dissolve 35 ml (approx. 37–40 g) of Tropic Marin® Pro-Reef or each liter of water in a container. The seawater thus prepared can be used as soon as the salt is completely dissolved and the solution is clear. The relative density of the sea salt solution should be 1.025 to 1.027 at a temperature of 25 °C.
A partial water change of up to 10% weekly with Tropic Marin® Pro-Reef sea salt helps maintain water quality, which will contribute to the well-being of your animals.
