They can be easily confused with Paracheirodon innesi (Neon Tetra); however, they have a red coloration along the entire lower part of their body, from the caudal peduncle to their mouth, while P. innesi has a red coloration from the caudal peduncle to the lower half of its body.

The specimens we sell are about 2cm long. A school of at least 10 individuals should be kept together so that they feel uninhibited and at ease.
