Seachem Prime

Seachem Prime® is a complete and concentrated conditioner for fresh and saltwater that removes chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate.

It is not acidic and does not affect pH, and an added bonus for the saltwater aquarist is that Seachem Prime® will not overactivate skimmers.

Recommended dosage: 1 capful (5 mL) for every 200 L of new water.

For smaller volumes, note that each cap thread holds approximately 1 mL. It can be added directly to the aquarium, but it is best to add it to the new water first. If adding directly to the aquarium, base the dosage on the aquarium's volume.

The sulfur odor is normal. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose can be safely used. To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times the normal dose can be used.

If the temperature is above 30°C and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use half the dose.
