Sagittaria subulata 1-2-Grow!

Sagittaria subulata from South America is an ideal and undemanding foreground plant, whose short runners form a compact clump. Place individual plants 2-4 cm apart. This plant can cause problems because, under certain conditions, it suddenly grows up to 50 cm tall when it ages. But if moved to the background, it may grow low again. In the aquarium, it sometimes sends a long flower stalk to the surface, and small white flowers develop just above the water's surface.
