Myriophyllum mattogrossense

Myriophyllum matogrossense is native to Mato Grosso on the Amazon River, Brazil. It has decorative, feathery, reddish stems (30-60 cm long) and finely divided, glossy green leaves (5 cm wide).
In good light conditions, the leaves spread out in a fan shape.

Myriophyllum is relatively easy to grow and is suitable for the back of the plant, although it needs frequent pruning to maintain its bushy shape.

It grows quickly and requires a good amount of nutrition.
A good starter plan.
