Lagenandra meeboldii 'Red'

This plant originates from India and is very similar to a Cryptocoryne, as it grows to a medium size with broad leaves. It can be used in aquariums like Cryptocorynes, but it needs sufficient light to develop its colors.
The leaves are 4-8 cm wide and 6-12 cm long, so this plant is relatively broad.
The colors range from dusty green and bright violet to reddish-violet, often on the same leaf. The new leaves are pale pink.
