Echinodorus cordifolius 'Fluitans'

A relatively fast-growing Echinodorus, suitable for large aquariums, reaching leaves 20-50 cm long and 15-30 cm wide. An easy and undemanding plant, excellent for beginners.

Its wavy, light green leaves are very decorative. Unlike other round-leaved varieties of the species, Echinodorus cordifolius fluitans is less likely to grow above the water's surface. If it grows large enough, it forms large leaves just below the surface.
