This beautiful variety with dark, hammered leaves is called 'Tropica'. When grown in an open space, the leaves remain almost entirely on the bottom. It is suitable for small aquariums with leaves 10-20 cm long and 10-20 cm wide. Like most other Cryptocorynes from Sri Lanka, it also grows well in hard water.
