Cryptocoryne usteriana

Cryptocoryne usteriana is one of the tallest cryptocorynes and is very easy to grow.

The leaves are 3-5 cm wide with a raised surface; they can easily reach over 50 cm in length.

With good lighting and fertilization, the upper part of the leaves will turn dark green or bronze green, while the underside of the leaves will turn burgundy red.

Propagation is via long channels, and the plant tolerates alkaline water very well.
