Bacopa monnieri 'Compact'

This cultivation method for the Bacopa Monnieri stem plant is more compact and, under good light conditions, almost becomes a creeping plant. By removing all vertical growth shoots, the plant can maintain low and close growth, as it voluntarily creates a large number of lateral shoots.
Furthermore, the plant grows well in the shade of other plants. Very suitable as a carpet on a slightly higher plane – or as a shrubby plant in the middle or front of the aquarium. The plant becomes more upright and less compact without added CO2 and under reduced light conditions.
