The orange dwarf crayfish, often known as CPO ( Cambarellus patzcuarensis “orange”), is a very popular breeding form of the Mexican striped dwarf crayfish. Measuring between 4 and 5 cm in size and with its striking bright orange coloration, it is a real highlight in aquariums, especially for smaller tanks. Females are slightly larger than males. CPOs have a lifespan of 1.5 to 2 years and are ideal for beginners in the aquarium hobby.

Size: up to 50 mm
Life expectancy: up to 2 years
Behavior:
Slightly aggressive and territorial, it can be kept with peaceful shrimp, possibly with small fish (if water parameters are compatible).
Reproduction: approximately 40 juveniles hatch after 4 to 6 weeks.
Food: crayfish food, bottom feeder pellets, dried autumn leaves
