Echinodorus grisebachii 'Bleherae'

Echinodorus bleheri, from South America, is undemanding and beautiful, reaching 20-50 cm in height.

A nutrient-rich substrate promotes growth, but the plant needs pruning to prevent it from depriving the plants below of light. Echinodorus bleheri thrives even in poorly lit aquariums, as it grows towards the light.
It is a hardy and easy-to-grow solitary plant, suitable for both beginners and experienced aquarists with fairly large aquariums.
